We help people with disabilities get into sport

The aim of the Foundation is to help disabled people be able to participate in sport.

It is widely recognised that people with disabilities generally have a number of barriers to overcome in order to even just get into sport.

There are a lack of facilities and specialist equipment up and down the country and on top of that it is also very difficult to find instructors with the necessary experience and qualifications.

With the current national statistics as they are (shown below) it makes us more determined than ever to do what we can to help.

“7 out of 10 disabled people don’t play any kind of sport”

“7 out of 10 disabled people would like to play sport”

Below is a list of sports that we have been able to help people with disabilities get into so far....

  • Swimming
  • Tennis
  • Rugby
  • Archery
  • Kayaking
  • Bowls
  • Horse Riding
  • Cycling
  • Karate
  • Rock Climbing
  • Skiing
  • Athletics
  • Trampolining,
